Owen Froehlich

I am a native San Franciscan who is passionate about aviation. I graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics along with a minor in Atmospheric Science. I then attended the FAA Academy to become an Air Traffic Controller but then decided that I want to fly instead. I did my Private Pilot training in Hayward and completed my Instrument, Commercial, and CFI at Advantage Aviation here in Palo Alto.

I am checked out to teach on the Cessna 172SP G1000 model. The G1000 is the cockpit with the full flat panel glass display and is very intuitive. I like to teach and emphasize safe, conservative, and smart aeronautical decision making (ADM) when flying.

Over the summer I teach at Surf Camp Pacifica and am also teacher’s assistant at the German School of San Francisco every Saturday morning. My schedule is very flexible with lots of availability.

Feel free to reach out if you are curious about flying or even have some previous experience.
