Thanks for visiting! I’m excited to connect and learn more about your aviation goals.
I started my aviation career right here at Advantage Aviation where I earned Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial Pilot, Advanced Ground Instructor, and Flight Instructor certificates. You can typically find me in the right seat of a Cessna 172, but I also enjoy flying the Diamond Star DA-40, Cessna 182/182 Turbo, and Beechcraft Bonanza G36.
I have a BA in Economics, MA in Education, and MBA from Stanford. In addition to aviation instruction, I have experience teaching undergraduate economics and math. I’ve also been a cross country/track and field coach and marathon trainer/pacer, so have experience helping runners of all ages achieve their goals.
Prior to aviation, I spent over a decade working in finance and high tech, which honed organization, communication, and managerial skills. As a flight instructor, I use a proven yet individualized teaching syllabus, so you’ll always be apprised of your progress, what’s coming next, and how to best prepare for lessons. This focused approach will save you time and money, and chart the most direct path to your aviation goals.
In addition to teaching pilots and flying my family on adventures throughout California, I’m an active member of the Ninety-Nines (an international organization of women pilots) and volunteer for Pilots ‘n’ Paws, transporting rescue animals to foster and forever homes. When not flying, I enjoy distance running, playing the cello, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
Whether you want to just take a Discovery flight and learn the basics, earn a Private Pilot certificate, or pursue a career in aviation, I would love to help!
