I joined Advantage Aviation as an instructor in August 2009, due to the great selection of airplanes. I started flying in Melbourne, Florida back in 2001 and did my solo flight there. I have been teaching since February 2008 as a full time instructor. In 2014 I started work at Ameriflight, I’m now a Captain in a Beech 1900. I started flying to pursue my flying dreams, and the ability to travel to destinations inaccessible to most. I was born in Moscow, Russia and came over to the United States when I was seven years old. I read speak and write Russian.
All of my students have passed their pilot check-rides, and have continued with me to get their additional ratings. I graduated San Jose State University with a B.S. in Aviation Operations and a minor in Business. I’m continually pursuing ways to advance my aviation knowledge, which helps enhance my students learning process.
I fly and have flown Cessna’s, Piper’s, Citabria’s, Extra, Pitts, Dutchess, Diamond’s, and Beech aircraft. I accept cash, check, or credit cards.
I offer personalized, in-depth flight training using a hybrid of the Jeppesen syllabus tailored to the student’s needs. I am available Part-Time to help you with all your flight training needs, offering everything from Private Rating, Instrument Rating, Commercial Rating, Tailwheel, Complex, High Altitude, Airline Transport Pilot Rating, and High-Performance endorsements. I primarily specialize in upgrade, and advanced training. Please call before scheduling, my schedule fills up.
