N796SP, my 2001 Cessna 172SP, has now been installed with the Boom Beam Xenon High-Intensity Discharge landing light sytem.  The type that is used on the Airbus 380's.  It is 500% brighter and longer range than stock bulbs, making night landings bright as day.  Much more reliable, the Xenon HID lights have 5,000 hours life factory guaranteed, and will basically never burn out again (the stock incandescent bulbs usually burn out once a month, a pain for maintenance).

Feel free to keep the landing/taxi lights ON throughout your flight even in day time for maximum visibility to other air traffic.  It also makes it ideal for night flying and training.

N796SP is the happiest when she's in the air, so take her out!

P.S. After getting to the bottom of some squawks, N796SP has been completely squawk free so far!  Hopefully I don't jinx myself.  Good job to Tony and Robert at Advantage maintenance!
