Advantage Aviation Instructor Profile
Logan Frasier - CFI
Biography
"The view from my office is amazing, the clients are all fun, interesting, and enthusiastic individuals, and I get to work at an airport—so I ask, is there a better job out there? My first inclination to pursue aviation happened when I was six years old. While riding in a Boeing PT-17 Stearman, the pilot let me take the controls for a second, and that was it; I was hooked, all I wanted to do was fly. I achieved my private pilot rating in 1991, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve flown for the traffic watch division of a local radio station, cooperate, charter, a skydive operation, and of course, flight instruction. Of all these, however, teaching is absolutely the most rewarding. My philosophy—to live each day as though it were your last; take no prisoners, and have no regrets. Hobbies include, but are not limited to, skiing, SCUBA diving, camping, golf (I’m a hack), and skydiving. But hey, guess what; flying has made them all more accessible. A notable experience; recently a friend and I journeyed to the heart of the Amazon rain forest, in Venezuela, and BASE jumped from Angel Falls, the highest cascade on Earth!"
