Biography
I joined Advantage Aviation as an instructor in August 2009, due to the great selection of aerobatic airplanes. I started flying in Melbourne, Fl back in 2001. I have been teaching since February 2008 as a full time instructor. I got into Aviation because I'm the third generation pilot in my family. My dad was a militay helicopter pilot in the Russian military. I was born in Moscow Russia and came over to the states when i was seven.
All of my students have passed their pilot checkrides, and have continued with me to get their additional ratings. I graduated San Jose State University with a B.S. in Aviation Operations and a minor in Business. I speak fluent Russian, and currently trying to learn French. I'm also involved with MS Aviation as the Technical Sales manager of the pilot training software company.
I fly Cessna's, Piper's, Citabria's, Extra, Pitts, and the Diamond Twin Stars. My students average around 65 hours to get their private pilot's license. I take cash, check, or credit cards in person using the iphone application.
I offer personalized, in-depth flight training using the Jeppesen syllabus tailored to the students needs. I am available Full-Time to help you with all your flight training needs, offering everything from Private, Instrument, Commercial, Tailwheel, Complex, High Altitude, and High-Performance endorsements. I am also experienced in providing accelerated training in the Piper Seminole using the ATP syllabus.
My hourly rate is $65 for primary instruction and $70 for advanced instruction. I also have block rates for both levels of instruction.
